Sporting clays evolved from a way for bird hunters to practice during the off-season. It is now a sport in its own right with competitions throughout the year. Our course and Five Stand are novice to intermediate in difficulty. Shooters new to the sport will have fun learning and more experienced shooters can hone their skills on the more challenging shots.

Our sporting clays and five stand courses were designed by renowned course designer John Higgins. The clays course is a 12 station layout nestled along a wooded trail around the lake. The covered Five Stand overlooks the lake and has 8 target presentations.

Liberty Hill is committed to providing an eco-friendly environment. Our goal is to provide a great outdoors experience while leaving a minimal footprint on the land. To ensure the natural splendor of the sporting grounds, we use only steel shot for all sporting clay events.
